For Money Blogging Success, the next steps are to establish a hosting account and direct the chosen domain name to that hosting server.
Having researched keywords and chosen a suitable domain name, the domain name needs to be hosted. Hosting is rather like renting premises for the domain name to occupy.
To host my domain names, I use a well recommended hosting service that enables me to host unlimited domains at a very inexpensive rate.

After acquiring a domain name and a hosting account, the next step is to connect the two together.
Go into the account where the domain name was purchased. The new address for the site needs to be added - this is the address of the hosting account. By entering the hosting account address the domain name is directed across to the hosting account.
In the domain name account, where the current DNS, or Domain Name Server, is initially listed as that of the domain name seller, the new address needs to be added.
Just enter the two dns numbers that are provided in the email details of the hosting account. They will look like:
NS123.hostgator.com and NS124.hostgator.com
except the numbers will be those relevant to your own account. There are always two dns numbers, with consecutive numbers. The second one is an added security.
These two numbers are then entered in the DNS manager section on the domain name account that was established when purchasing the domain name. By entering the dns address of the hosting account, the domain name is then directed across to the hosting account.
Then the hosting account is directed to recognise and accept the name, by going to the hosting account, using the directions which will be in the email received when the hosting account is established. Then add the new domain name there in the hosting account.
These are the steps I have followed in establishing this blogsite.
Although this can sound a little confusing, it is quite straightforward, just a bit awkward to explain. For easy to follow camtasias to follow, which visually demonstrate these steps, plus more on setting up websites, check out:

The site is now ready to accept whatever format is going to be used for display. In this case, for a blog site, I am using Wordpress, which would be recommended, and will step through the installation of wordpress blog site on the new domain name, in the following post.
