To use an email address such as: nickname12345@ hotmail/orsimilar.com does not give a very professional or business-like image for an online business. Consider the desired image if intending to build a business or if adding a blog or website to a current business.
It is easy to set up a distinct email account by using the purchased domain name.

In the hosting account, there is a tab for - mail accounts - which gives an option to add a new email address to a chosen domain name.
It is best not to use admin@ or info@ as these can sometimes be blocked and are not so well received. A possible choice could be - name@ - which is an acceptable format. Provide a password for the email account and keep note of the password used. (It is a good habit to start an excel spreadsheet and a hard-copy note-book to keep all your records and passwords organised)
Then go to current mail service and choose the option to add an email address. Include this new email address into the current email service, so that mail coming into the new email address can be received.
