After setting up the blog site, the next focus is to provide fresh, interesting, informative, relevant, content for your visitors, and also for the search engine bots! Blog writing can be fun, although if writing is not your forte, do not feel daunted. There are several options.
1. Write the content for the posts and pages. Set a schedule for regular writing and research. Research can provide interesting ideas and is also necessary to help keep up-to-date. If the blog is on a topic of interest, which is recommended, then it can be quite easy for some to write regular material to post. If writing skills are not your forte, if time is pressured, or if you have more than one blog, then other options may be preferable.
2. Have the writing done for you. By paying to have the writing done for you, the material can be research, well-written, informative, interesting, and the pressure on your time is lifted, and allowing the time to perhaps be used for other marketing aspects. 3. Another way to provide regular blog content without the overload of work, is to use a software system to provide regular feeds of content, pulled from other areas such as article directories, videos, etc The software selects the relevant content, based on the topics/keywords you provide. Usually this content has some reference to the author, and sometimes includes outward links. It can provide lots of content easily, but I would also recommend the use of some of your own original content, whether written by you or written by request. 4. Purchase PLR articles. These will need some re-spinning. That is, the articles will need some rewriting so that they will be seen as fresh, original content. Considering the extra step with the re-write, I would recommend step 2 as preferably to step 4. There are software programs to do the spin on articles, however it still needs a human check. The paid writers can also be paid to do the spins.
5. Remember that videos rank well. Create videos and use them for content also. (refer to video post) Videos created by others and listed on Yutube, and other video sites, can be embedded on your site for extra content, although your own would be preferable and would be providing your chosen message and links. The content feeder softwares can also pull video content to the blog. And also remember to add images for better aesthetics on the page. And make the images clickable to the desired destination for your videos -which may be your sales page, an optin page, or an affiliate site.
6. Allow comments, but only with approval. Once the comment has been approved, and allowed to show on the site, that is providing more content, information, interaction and interest on the page.
